Hotel assistant

We are looking for Hotel Assistants to join our friendly team at Gwesty Seren.

As Hotel Assistant you will have a warm and welcoming personality. You will be key to the guest service experience throughout their stay.

You will work shifts on a rota basis, which will include working weekends and bank holidays, some flexibility is required for covering other shifts on occasion.

Hotel Assistants duties include the following:

Cover Reception area when need be. Approach customers and answer telephone calls with a well-mannered and polite attitude at all times.

Assist in serving behind the Bar

Set up each meal service and ensure restaurant area is always clean, tidy and hazard free

Take food orders promptly, ensuring that they are entered on the tills system

Provide customers with information about the menu or any daily specials.

Acknowledge any dietary requirements of the menu

Ensure all laundry is washed, dried, ironed and stored neatly at all times.

Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms and all public area are clean and tidy at all times

Assist the Chef with any duties if required.

Adhere to company guidelines and procedures regarding cleaning standards

Adhere to correct Food Hygiene legislation and Health & Safety practices at all times.

Deal with any problems that arises in a professional manner.

Ability to speak Welsh essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £10.90 per hour
